Description:

A really good example of a 19th century aesthetic mirror with gilt and black decortion. It is very unusual in having a diamond registartion mark which dates the design to 21st July 1875 registered by John Beauchamp, 10 Great Percy Street London.

The mirror is a large overmantle mirror with good 'square' proportions but would work equal;ly well over a piece of furniture such a hall table or settee. The gilding and glass are original.
