Description:

Fine example of a French arch top mirror with excellent proportions for an overmantle, c.1890. This mirror is a very good example with original glass, gilding and panelled back. There is an area of mirror degradation in the top right hand corner and some minor spotting elsewhere. The frame is stylish with a Greek key design etched into the frame and beading running around the inside edge.
