Description:

Fine example of a French decorative oval wall mirror with original gilt finish and glass, c.1870. This mirror has deep crests top and bottom and scalloped edge all the way round. The frame maintains its original gilding and has bright water gilded highlights on the raised sections of the frame. The bevelled plate is also original with only one small ' stripe' of wear on the glass.
