Fine quality Art Nouveau brass antique twin arm rise and fall light fitting, c.1910. This is a really good example with every element of the fitting designed and executed with real art nouveau flare. The ceiling plate, weight, shade holders and pulley mechanism all have a beautiful Art Nouveau finish. The light is a registered design for patent no 573561 relating to around 1910 in date. This light has original porcelain pulley wheels.

Originally designed as bedroom lights , these lamps now make wonderful dining room lights or over desks or kitchen surfaces. Completely re-wired using modern flex and professionally polished. The shades are original Edwardian frosted  glass shades with cranberry edge. 

Designed to be adjustable in height , this fitting will 'sit' at varying heights to suit.
