Description:
Fine quality cast bronze English gas table light c. 1870. This
lamp is of large proportions with an elegant stem cast with acanthus motifs up
the stem. It has original gas shade carrier and exceptional etched pale
cranberry shade. This antique table lamp has the old gas tap on the base which
has now been fixed and kept to house modern wiring. It has been professionally
polished and re-wired to comply with mopdern PAT testing. the lamp is bronze and
is therefore a slightly pinker colour than brass.
