A very nice quality pair of Victorian brass gas wall brackets, originally for gas and now completely re-wired for modern
electric. These antique lamps are exceptional quality with very well cast
and heavy arms complete with makers stamp on back plate which is very rare. This
addition may mean these were exhibition lights as lamps are rarely so marked.
the makers stamp is as follows ' C J Phillip, maker Birmingham, trade mark'. The
antique gas light shades are also top quality with well etched floral and butterfly
design. These antique lamps have been professionally polished and re-wired for
modern electric.
