Description

A good quality genuine gas table light with exceptional etched green gas shade,c.1890. The base is a very solid design with original decorative gas tap - now fixed to allow wire through it. Just below the gas tap there is a diamond registration mark thus pre-dating the lamp to 1883 when they ceased to be used. This shade is a good example with strong colour and finely etched design. This light has been polished and re-wired to modern standards.
