Description:

This is a good quality late Victorian antique brass standard lamp on well cast base with lion paw feet and laurel leaf garlands on stepped base, c.1890. The lamp was originally oil and has been restored keeping the adjustable height mechanism. The base has original cast iron insert so it is a heavy and stable light. This lamp has been professionally polished and re-wired to modern standards.
