Fine quality English antique gas portable table light with very pretty etched amber gas shade, c.1870. This antique lamp is unusual as it retains its original 'stag' bracket to hold the shade in place with small screw which secures the glass securely. Now completely re-wired to modern standards and fully compliant to modern electrical standards. This is a great antique lamp with heavy base and crisp casting.
