Fine quality Edwardian antique brass gas table light,c.1910.
This is an unusual lamp as it has a downlighter gas fitting rather than the more
usual uplighter fitment. These lamps were only available once the inverted gas
mantle had been invented and are thus quite rare. This is a particularly nice
example as it has its original porcelain smoke catcher and gallery and a good
antique etched green glass shade. It has been completely re-wired and
professinally polished.
