Description : 

An early 19th C flame mahogany veneered centre table.  The marble top of a variegated decorative amalgam with a moulded side rim, and a good triple moulded concave mould edge.  The frieze with an octagonal ogee collar, raised upon a vase shaped baluster stem of octagonal form, resting on a conforming ogee moulded socle.  The stem sitting on a triform base of square sections with raised and pierced scroll brackets, decorated with paterae, and standing on carved paw feet.

This table is photographed before polishing and is now in superb condition complete with old style casters and polished marble top.
