Description : Good quality Victorian mahogany shaped bedside table of very unusual design, c.1860. This is the first time I have seen a design like this with a hinged top revealing original blue and white transfer bowl. This type of bedside is usually with a fixed top so this is a rare piece. It is complete with original jug and bowl set and marble topped insert. It has been professionally polished .We have had a replaced shelf put on the inside without a cut out hole and the waste pipe has been chopped back to provide better storage.
