Superb quality Victorian rosewood davenport with original interior housing four concealed side drawers behind a cupboard door, c.1840. The desk also has a pen and ink drawer with two small interior drawers and three dummy drawers. It has a replaced tooled leather top which lifts to show more small drawers and two pigeon holes.
