Description:

Attractive Regency work table of elegant design, c.1820. This table has fabulous rosewood veneers laid to mirror each side including the flaps. The top has crossbanded veneered edges which are also nicely figured. The two drawers have cock beaded edges, original wooden handles and dummy replicas on the opposite side. The body is fitted with a sliding wool bag and is supported on double upright legs shaped on the bottom with patrae mounts. The uprights are supported by sabre leg feet with further scrolling and patrae.
