Description

Fine Georgian tallboy or chest on chest, c.1780. This chest is a particularly good colour with fine figuring to all the drawer fronts. Additional key points include a brushing slide, original swan neck handles ( one replacement), dentil frieze to the top cornice and reeded, canted corner shape to the top. The top drawer of the bottom section is divided into three compartments and the whole piece stands on original bracket feet.
