We have designed
our website to focus on our three main specialist areas;

Mirrors. All of our
items are genuine quality antiques which we buy with a keen eye on
contemporary trends to compliment modern living and interior design.
Antique
Lights, antique lighting and lamps: We
stock antique ceiling fittings, antique table lights, antique wall lights
and antique floor lamps. We sell genuine British antique lights which are
re-furbished and re- wired and fitted with period antique glass shades. Most of our
antique lighting stock is from the late Victorian and Edwardian eras. This
was an interesting time in lighting development, seeing the change from
gas fittings to electric lights. Our stock encompasses both antique gas
fittings and Edwardian electric lights. All antique table lights are re-wired to modern PAT
(portable appliance test) standards. We pride ourselves in selling top
quality genuine antique lights always restored to a very high standard.
Antique
Mirrors: We stock English
and French antique gilded wall mirrors and antique overmantles. We also
have examples of English mahogany overmantles, Georgian toilet mirrors,
antique pier mirrors and convex Regency mirrors. All our antique mirrors
are purchased with a keen eye on style and condition.
Antique
Furniture: We stock a range of antique English town furniture from late 18th century
to early 20th century. Our stock includes antique dining room furniture,
antique bedroom
furniture and a range of upholstered antique pieces. We also have select pieces of
country furniture.

Chislehurst Antiques
was established in 1978 by Margaret Crawley and has enjoyed 30 years of
continuous trading on the Royal Parade. In March 2008, the
shop is closing. We are relocating all stock to Newark
after the shop closes on March 19th 2008. In
order to relocate more easily, we are having a relocation sale with huge
discounts. Always happy to assist in nationwide deliveries.
Sarah Scott Antiques
was established in 1998 and is run by Margaret's daughter
Sarah who is based in Sheffield and runs the internet side of the business. We
are happy to try and source particular items and are always looking for
good quality stock so please
email us with any enquiries. We have recently opened in No 1 Castlegate
Antiques Newark where we have a good selection of antique mirrors, antique
lights and quality antique furniture
From March 19th 2008 all our
stock will be housed in No.1 Castlegate Antiques centre in Newark,
